With hundreds of sanctuaries operating around the United States alone, and with more being founded each month, it’s critical that these organizations have the appropriate educational foundation and resources necessary to conduct their missions in a sustainable manner to provide the promised lifelong care to their residents. It’s no secret that sanctuaries often fall into crisis situations regarding funding and capacity issues, and when sanctuaries close, their residents are cast back into situations that might be worse than the ones they were originally rescued from. Our work helps prevent such crisis situations.
